- How much does it cost for monitoring?
Although packages vary, we can help you determine the right monitoring package for you. Call or

- Can I sign up for monitoring without a traditional (analog) phone line?
Absolutely! Many of our clients have eliminated their traditional phone line altogether. There is, however, a small monthly fee increase and additional equipment may be needed.
- Do I need to register my alarm system with the police department?
Yes (In most cases). We will try to provide you with the most up to date information, but we strongly urge each client to check with their local responding agency (police department) to see what requirements they may have for homes or businesses. Any associated fees or applicable fines would be the client’s responsibility.
- If someone cuts my phone lines, will the monitoring center be notified?
Only if you elected for our back-up cellular communicator. We offer a cellular communication device that sends alarm signals without a conventional phone line.
- I moved into a pre-owned home with a security system installed, what is the code?
Congratulations! For security reasons, NTX Security does not have any security master codes or user codes on file. Please contact NTX Security for a security professional to share with you our life safety packages that will include a new control panel as needed.
- I just bought a new home / office with a security alarm system. How do I use it?

- Would having pets cause problems?
Only if you choose an inexperienced security contractor. We offer pet friendly devices and security system designs. Your security system should be designed for every member of your family, not just those of us that wear shoes.
- When can I get connected to the monitoring center?
You can’t wait? That’s okay, we are excited too! Our representatives stay busy because we are responsive. In most cases, we are able to meet with you within 24–48 hours; however, your safety is too important to delay. If you have a security concern that requires immediate attention, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your situation.
- Is my monitoring service agreement transferable if I move?
There are many options available to you when you move, one of which is transferring the service. In many cases, we are able to transfer your service to your new location; however, in the unlikely chance that is not an option please call us to see what other options are available.
- My alarm went off accidentally, but I quickly put in the code and shut it off. I expected a call, but no one called. Why not?
You have just experienced our way of helping police departments nationwide. Our system allows a brief period for you to turn off your system before an alarm signal is sent to the customer monitoring center. This gives you enough time to cancel the signal and prevent a false alarm. False alarms affect everyone; we are doing our part to eliminate them while providing the best life safety options available.
